Risks are determined and managed using a risk graph or risk matrix. The course is based on the LOPA issues of CCPS and IEC 61511:2016 part 3.
You will learn about the methodology, how failure frequencies and risk reductions are determined and when a barrier gives risk reduction. You will be able to determine the SIL of an instrumental safeguard.
This training has been given to various groups for many years, both ‘open registration’ and ‘in-house training’. The training courses are regularly evaluated, updated and improved.
Herman Jansen will give the training. Herman conducted hundreds of safety related studies and has provided dozens of SIL classification/LOPA courses in the past 15 years.
